A Somerton Almond, an old-fashioned variety of grown historically in and around the Fleurieu Region. Known as a brown skinned almonds, the Somerton Almonds is a flatter, creamier version of the Old Australian varieties. They have a slight creamy, sweet flavour, delicious roasted or made into nut butter, or simply perfect as a table nut. You will not be disappointed with this almond as its old-fashioned flavours invoke memories of childhoods spent picking almonds from the back garden tree. Taronga Almonds are pesticide free, freshly harvested and stored under optimum conditions to ensure they are fresh for our lovely customers.
